A juvenile kea struggles to maintain its footing against the rough onslaught of a morning snowstorm in Arthur's Park National Park, New Zealand. This image means a lot to me as it was the result of multiple trips aimed at observing kea in just the right conditions, to properly exhibit why they are called "the world's only alpine parrot".
